SInce Apple has abandoned Color (and the other ProApps) and may very well abandon the Mac Pro, I am hesitant to buy Resolve for Mac unless I know I can also run the Windows version with the same licen

Thanks for the input. I believe they use the Areca cards. If I am correct Raid 6 takes a slight loss in write speed over 5, but they should read the same Might stay with raid 6.
