Well, after one day of troubleshooting, I didn't succeed with the 1200. But I found a 1400 and it worked the first time. That's why I don't use tape anymore, whenever possible. Thanks, ---------------

well i know that if you place a 29.97 fps interlaced into a 59.94 fps or basically double the comp fps, AE will give each field there own frame you can look at. I don't know if this helps exactly. htt

Just output a mpeg2 with Compressor, the tech will probably read it with a mpeg2 reader. Or he meant a muxed file (Compressor 1 can't do that), so you can create a simple DVD with DVDSP and rename .VO

And if you're testing for a particular application, nothing beats testing the kind of content you're expecting to use as source. The closer your test source is to what you want to use, the better.

Well, Cam DVD output mpeg2 file, so its already compressed and can be tricky to edit. FCP can import mpeg2. It would just a second generation lost while output using Compressor from FCP. Pete
