With the CUDA driver 5.5.28 update I also noticed an extra control panel "Nvidia Driver Manager" had been installed. It allows easier management of the GPU driver. You can easily select the OSX driver

Lewis, Premiere will map 0-100 IRE values to full 0-255 RGB (in some instances you can have luma values above and below because of some filters and floating point math but most codecs will clamp above

Premiere probably doesn't like Nikon RAW files. Try converting them to DNG, PNG or TIFF. Or do the timelapse in AE.

Isn't the correct way to import tapeless media is to use Premiere's Media Browser rather that the Import dialog

100 per cent fail on every level. I am super happy we decided to leave Apple behind. It would be very, very tough to come up with something more compromised and stupid as a workstation replacement. --

I had this once happen to me with a rental 501 or 503 (not sure anymore) using Manfrotto bowl legs (75mm or 100mm, can't remember). If you have a 2nd pair of legs, mount the head and repeat the test.
