You need to resd a little of Compressor's Help file or User Manual on this subject so as to set up Job for Compessor. It will then be clearer - the jobs are quick and very clean. Best wishes philip

Avoid the complicated pathway. Copy the Hi-8 to P2 or (if your HVX-200 has the tape option as well) DV. THEN plug just the Panasonic into MacBook and Log & Capture or Transfer. The conversion from the

UPS - uninterruptible power supply - when does one need an Online supply and when can one use just a Line-Interractive supply? There is such a difference in price.
I can imagine it has to do with the speed of the Switch to battery power (when there is a problem) as well as the superior quality of Constant battery power.
With a 12 core 33.3Ghz MacPro can the switch ever be fast enough?
