No. Expressions can't move the current-time indicator. They can only set a layer property to a value. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I see where you're coming from Alex. I think what you're seeing is just the progression (not necessarily the current style) of modern moving images. Traditionally I think 'graphics' in video and film
