media cache files am I doing damage or losing content when clean/deleting?

To remedy render crashes (h264 is main culprit,or was ) cache media files were cleaned.Leftover files were to be manually deleted. These files were labelled birds chirping dogs barking , engine, MEDIA

Hi Peter, those files are created by Premiere for every project you have, if you delete them, the next time you open each project the files are generated again. Actually if you opened your project aft

I am working with P2 files on a PC, but have trouble dealing with P2 folders files. I used to import the files on Mac with Final Cut Pro 7 (now unavailable) and it would conveniently convert P2 videos

also use a p2 camera (that's all i have) when I had access to prem pro I was able to edit and have sound etc. MXF converters only convert the video but dont allow me to access the sound.Using a pc wit
