It will be sluggish in that case. Resolve only sends a play clue, not a media stream or whatever. After the colorist hits stop the timeline of the client will sync up to the position of the colorists'

If the first window tracks well on her face you can just use keyframing to change the grade within that window. You can even manipulate how fast the change is being applied. Editor Colorist, Amsterdam

I don't think there's a 'fast' way to deal with this. What I would do is hit matchframe on the last frame of the speed up clip and put a locater on the source clip position. Go back to first frame of

No, actually you can continue with your transcoded sequence, edit again with ama media. When you're finished you can transcode again and avid will only transcode the ama media. I do this all the time.

Save for the "Auto Color," you'll need to balance your image "manually" using the lift gamma gain controls and referencing the waveforms. This could be a great way to learn Davinci anyway!

In progressive mode, I don't think it much matters. Interlaced I'd go with 50fps. Easier conversion assuming your final deliverable is PAL. Marvin Holdman Production Manager Tourist Network 8317 Front

I think it has to do with your timeline settings. By default fcp will make a stereo mix of the audio in the timeline, but you can alter this in the timeline settings (command-0). Try discrete channels
