If I were asked to do this, I'd do what Adam suggested. I did something similar in Element 3d (video copilot). I made a material with fractal noise turbulent noise and then animated it and applied it

You could easily sculpt the landscape using the sculpting tools in cinema. Or you could boole out a chunk so your house has a flat section.
How to model a rocket type leg

Hi all, I need a little advice on the best way to model the legs in the attached picture and weld them to the capsule body. Polycount has to stay low as it's for a game model. Thanks!

I'd just use a cub. Make it editable. Bevel the one edge to give you that nice round edge. Then it's a case of moving things around till they are right.

Use MOV or MP4 and H246 and you should decrease render time and file size. 2-4 hours isn't that long for a 6 minute video, depending on what you have going on. I sometimes have double that for a 1 min

Unfortunately, you can "undo," but other than undo, as far as I know you can't change an editable object back.

Converting into production codec can help a lot, yes. QuickTime with the Photo-JPEG codec is visually lossless. Good for most situations. QuickTime with the PNG codec is actually technically lossless.

So the video stops playing outside of FCPX and inside FCPX If there's no video data in the original video file, don't think you'll be able to get it back, as it's not there.
