We have 2 Sonnett Echo Express SE II for 2 2013 Mac Pros, one with a LHe Plus, and one with a LHi. Both chassis also contain FibreChannel cards for our SAN. This setup works extremely reliable for us.

Hi folks, a mate of mine has given me some footage on a formatted DVD (ie VOB files). Dunno what it was shot on but it is 4:3 and SD obviously (25fps). He doesn't have access to the original footage.

Hi Paul, Just logged on after some time away and saw your post. When I was running media suite 1.7 I had to pump in a video source for the audio to turn on. Black burst or color bars from a generator.

Yes Bret you're right they did drop the ball back then. But they have come along way. I think their biggest problem nowdays is they dont have the marketing exposure of the bigger names in the biz. But

Try using an adjustment layer that spans before and after the transition between the two shots and key frame a transitional color grade between them. Using the filters in the Color Correction Effects

In Media 100 all you do is create a new bin and import straight into it direct from transfer tool - seamless! Surely it works as easily as this in FCP Cheers Paul

To elaborate on what Rafael said, .dv is not supported by FCP. The reason why you don't want to use .dv is because .dv does not split the audio and video, which is what you want. That is why with FCP,
