As i see it, you want the increment of the revealed text to vary (wiggle) over time. Thus, the variable you need is the "progress" (how much of the text is revealed) multiplied by the "speedMultiplier

Hey Razvan, try effect 'Radio Waves'. It should give you the effect you want to achieve, as it accepts masks for wave type. Just create a solid, paste the mask, select it in the effects params and see

I think the glow looks like that because after effects needs a layer underneath for the glow to blend with, see how the glow operation is set to "add". With a transparent background there is no layer
