What codec you shot it in Probably H.264 mov files. It's a compressed codec, not for editing. Convert to Apple ProRes and it'll work just fine. Sascha Engel TIME BANDITZ Productions www.youtube.com ta

Thank you, but I just realized that Nikon D800 has no .THM files. The folder on the CIF card only has .MOV files.
The video is still interlaced even after exporting in progressive mode
by Odil Ruzaliev 7 years ago
This is really weird. I exported a video on FCP to Pro-Res HQ 1080p, but the end footage is still interlaced. When people are moving or dancing or turning their heads, there is a bad interlacing. Even

You should probably post this in a FCP forum and provide some details about your source footage, project settings, export settings, etc.

Question about GH2 and Workflow

Hello, I am seeing a lot of different workflows with the hacked GH2 (panasonic), and am trying to find out why it's so complicated. I simply select "log and transfer" (Final Cut 7) and import the file

Actually, yes. When you export a timeline, the bitrate go back to original high. The workflow on FCP is simple. Just log and transfer.
Why does encoding take so long in Compressor?

I've edited a wedding video shot with HMC 150, converted to ProRes prior to the edit. The duration of the timeline is 2,5 hours. I then sent the timeline content to Compressor and chose DVD Best Quali
