I'd say if you're used to Mac Pro performance, the 15 inch MBP + eGPU pretty much makes the case (so to speak). Even in High Sierra beta it's pretty compelling. Just plan on dropping another $500-1000

It should match the frame rate you're shooting- otherwise the monitor isn't accurately showing what the camera is recording. 120hz setting on monitors in general should be avoided like the plague. Noa

Really depends on your hardware. FCPX rocks at this on decent hardware. But older versions of FCP7 Premiere Pro you'd likely need to batch transcode to 1080p before ingesting. You could use Compressor

Can anyone with this camera confirm that you do not get a true progressive 10bit signal out from this camera in 25p or 50p at 1080. Atomos is saying that it will put out a 50i signal when set to 25p.

Hmm- this is pretty subjective. To my eyes I see nothing really egregious or that couldn't be fixed with some color correction. Skin tones look within what I'd consider normal, at least in the images
