If you burn a BluRay from FCPX you won't be able to adjust quality, but you won't need to worry about that since FCPX will export the best quality you need and playable for all devices. If you want to

I'm pretty sure that someone of power made a decision to do it that way, either a producer or director. Perhaps the editor sugested it for more "feeling", or the director had a hissy fit since no one

There's actually an override connections command you can use if you wanted to move primary clips withouth the connected ones. FCPX is simply a different software than FCP7. Trying to use it like a tra

Probably the most important one of all is external power. Pro X sells a 2m d-link to bmcc adapter cable for 60 euros. so you can connect it to v-mount batteries. Roko also sells a short one for 15 eur

I tested it with Premiere yesterday, and it is smoother than on X (with fx). But rendering is slower than X, and a composite I rendered with a mask, some cc curves and red's holomatrix crashed my iMac

Did you try to do it subframe, or did you go frame by frame I've been able to clean quite a few clicks and beeps with Xs subframe handling, If you need more precision Logic is the next option. I have

You can change spatial interpolation in the viewer. Temporal interpolation can only be adjusted for opacity, for whatever reason, they need to fix that. Now, the problem with the spatial interpolation
