There is not a command that does what you want, BUT: You CAN use a HEX editor to modify the file path and file name of the AI file in the AE project. I use the app "0xED". http: www.suavetech.com 0xed

potentially a particle system that could use a layer gradient map to effect horizontal speed of either the particles or the emitters producers. Particle Playground can use gradient maps, as can Trapco

I opened the file in Illustrator CC2015, and they move the same speed for me on both 0.01 pixel and 1 pixel settings.
