Again, look at my product, Backups For Final Cut Pro at http: npassociatesllc.com backupsforfcp . I've kept it up-to-date to support libraries. It is much more flexible than the FCP X backup feature.

I too, have an upcoming release of 'Backups', which I have just submitted to iTunes. Initial support for Xsan network locations. You may now double-click on a .fcpBackups archive to initiate a restore
