The media formats you're using are compressed and seem a bit complex so that could be an issue. But then you have a good enough CPU and your media isn't that large that it will challenge a USB3 drive.

Burning a complex multi menu Blu-ray. 6 timelines and lots of chapters. Took a while to set up links etc. Checked project for errors. None found. Tried to build a disk and got the error Blu-ray Object

I fixed the same issue in Encore 5.5 by simply deleting the offending file from encore and re-importing.
