@Jeremy, Well ProRes 4444 certainly doesn't seam like an offline codec but allot of people believe than anything less than a 16-bit TIFF stack sequence is not enough, of course they are talking about

Hello fellow FCPX users, I've started a forum in the After Effects section where I'm posting my progress on an import script to go from FCPX to AE. Check it! http: forums.creativecow.net readpost 227

I recently just bought a Fotodiox Nikkor to EOS adapter, its cheap and doesn't allow electronic control which is fine for what I need. I too am looking to buy some old Nikon glass since (1) my DSLR is
DSLR with visible time stamp for legal work?
by Michael McCune 6 years ago
For some work a visible time stamp is required on the running video. There are some broadcast and semi-pro camcorders, from about $2,000 and up, with this option. A DSLR or even a POV type would be sm

I'm surprised this isn't one of the strange features buried in something like a Canon 7D or something like that. Maybe a request to Magic Lantern for something like this If your not sure what Magic La
Better for screening: native t4i 1080p compression or ML raw 720p?
by Wilhelm Weitknecht 6 years ago
I have been doing quite a bit of research lately on Magic Lantern's raw possibilities, although there is one thing I can't seem to track down. The t4i's 24fps raw stream tops out at 720p due to the ca

I find the 720p looks very much like 1080p, in fact there are a few workflows showing how the footage contains allot of potential for scaling. The 5D Mk.III can do 1080p native and obviously offers th

Hello, After realising that the new Cinema DNG update for Premiere doesn't give you control over the full dynamic range of the video, I was hoping someone could inform me on the best workflow to edit,

Hey guys thanks for some simple advice! I personally prefer to import into After Effects CS5.5 since I know it better, for some reason Resolve refuses to run on my system a good 50% of the time, it ru
