Do it again, reboot the machine. After updating FCP I found the BM Pref Panel kept forgetting to stay in 1080. I then updated the BM drivers to Desktop Video 9.7 and haven't had the problem since. Nat

Turn on "high quality" under image quality in preferences. Should kill the flickering. Tell me if it does, it did on my 1080p24 XDCAM material, but it was more of a pulsating, maybe at 2hz-ish. Nate W

Mason, two things: Since FCP can work with the native codec off the tape, you're better off digitizing via firewire. There is an "Easy Setup" for 720p24 DVCPRO HD in Final Cut, that's the one you want

The flags you speak of are a combination of timecode and userbits. If neither of these are copied exactly to the new tapes, then you'll have problems.
