You may just be running out of space on your target drive Resolve can give errors like that when it runs out of space or something similar

After a bit more poking around it looks to me like the ability to manually set the amount of pre-allocated memory is new to version 12.5 is that correct Or perhaps version 12 I'm running v11 for this

Not possible. But you could export your audio as regular PCM Stereo or 5.1, and then I think you could use Adobe Media encoder to transcode using the SurCode plugin from Minitonka Audio. At least I kn

Resize the Node Window (make it bigger and make the Viewer smaller) and see if that helps. I think Node management in general will be improved in v12.

Its actually super easy now. Add a Bin Folder for each clip that you want to pre conform and place the flattened clip in the correct bin. Now when you load EDLs in it will ask you which bin you would
