This is for the application, not project based. And I was a bit off, 32bit applications can use about 3.5gig of ram, not 2 gig.
General Error (69) - DVCPRO HD1400 deck
by Erik Shapley 8 years ago
I am having a problem with a Panasonic DVCPRO HD1400 digitizing deck. Anytime I try to capture footage I get a 'General Error (69)' message in Final Cut. It worked fine until somebody digitized a tape
Re: General Error (69) - DVCPRO HD1400 deck

Sounds like you need to change the deck frame rate back to 29.97. I think FCP is telling the remote to look for one frame rate and the deck is giving a different one.

You should get a second hard drive to use for media. You should not be using media and the application from the same drive.

Re: FCP General Error (88)

Not positive, but I think I've resolved a General Error 88 by making sure that the device control was set to the frame rate of the deck and not the sequence. Either that, or it was having an out point

Re: first frame doubled on output creates 1 frame inaccuracy
