Just wanted to clear my wording. The install setup is asking for an UPGRADE to a later version of FCP 5.0.4, not an UPDATE, which is what i stated earlier. Still at a freeze with no clue what to do.

That's gotta be a first. I have my $800 P2 card but I forget a $5 DV tape. :) May I recommend to all readers, simply leave a DV tape in the HVX's deck at all times. This kills two birds with one stone

I can get a streaming WMV out of Cleaner doing the two pass because of the Flip4mac ProHD plug-in, my argument is why it takes so much longer for the two pass to finish compared to QT Pro and Squeeze.

Depending what codec you're using, Compressor 2 gives you an estimated size in the Inspectory Summary tab. You can make setting adjustments to hit your target size.
