If it's for DVD it needs to Mpeg2 for the video and Dolby Digital for the audio. You can also get away with PCM audio and a lot of times mpeg audio. If you're talking about what setting to work with w

VBR is always good. When I have a a video as short as yours I would still just do constant bit rate because it's quicker.

When you convert it asks what percentage of each track you want. Make sure it's no less than 50%. I guess it's also possible that your out of phase. That could cause your problem and explain why it fo

Haven't used CoolEdit in a while but I seem to remember having the same problem. I always wound up opening the mp3 in Winamp and adding the tag info there.

Well, I don't have any experience with Windows on Mac. You might be better using boot camp and boot into Windows to give it the full system resources.

Not 100% sure but I know there are sometimes issues with files over 2 gigs. If your using all NTFS then it's less of an issue. Try just coping the files and not doing anything via Premiere.

All you should have to do is click to end of track and then click record. DO NOT highlight a section. You'll only record there. It will overwrite from the mark on.

Just click the delete key. In Edit mode you can also select Effects Mute. This wont change the overall length.

There may be 2 ways. If you have a mixer with at least 2 buses then you need to set it up so the computer output goes to 2 only and the input goes to 1 & 2. Then you monitor 2 and you're good to go. (
