MPEG STREAMCLIP isn't without it's issues. And making QTs that aren't interlaced has been on thing it didn't always do well. So don't use it...Compressor does a fine job, as do other options. Shane Li

I had a problem shooting to a card and one of the clips wasn't recognised in Clip Browser. I resorted to XDCAM Transfer and exported the clip as a quicktime for FCP which I normally do anyway. However

Coming straight out of FCP 5. I think the 3gp encoder comes with it because I can't recall installing it separately. I tried encoding with other programs but the results were no better than from FCP.
