I find YouSendIt to be fairly easy to use, though that's through our studio's paid account. You can upload send many files at once (shift-click selections), or of course use the zipped folder approach

I just noticed this today. I know you can add it through the effects menu but this was super easy. Thanks Apple. I don't care if people label FCP X as "prosumer." It works great, fast and reliable.

The master fader in FCP does not have a writable track to record keyframes on. You'll have to do it on the individual track level. Or mix in another app (like soundtrack pro).

You can also set auto save to run a lot sooner....like every 5 mins. Sometimes slightly annoying when you try to hit play and it wants to save, but certainly MUCH better than losing 20 minutes of work

You can also hold down the option key while you use any tool. This enables you to select any clip item that is otherwise linked without un-linking it. And it stays linked after you deselect.

You can change the default length that stills import at in your user preferences (alt+Q). Set it to be however long you want them, then just reimport.

Try a keyword search for "time code offset". That might get you in the neighborhood. I often use time of day time code to roughly keep multiple cams in synch, or to at least make key events easily log
