If chosing DNx codecs to go to Resolve, you are probably better wrapping it in .mxf . Over the years there have been some issues with DNx codecs wrapped as quicktimes with gamma errors between NLEs. I

I'll bet your sequence settings have defaulted to DV codec. If so then change the sequence codec settings to ProRes 422 and it will render better. DV is a horrible old legacy codec that turns graphics

SD PAL 16:9 is done within a 4:3 frame with squeeze (non square pixels). You can export as a self contained movie with current settings and take that into Compressor and output a 1024 x 576 25fps quic

Not much point in using HQ. Normal ProRes422 is fine for footage coming from a DSLR. Have a search on the Final Cut Pro forum for advice from Gary Adcock about avoiding HQ except for 2k up frame sizes
