With the monitor you are grading on, did you view the bluray to see if it was the same gamma as the original grade. The question is if you are getting a difference and what might be done to fix that.

Not much point in using HQ. Normal ProRes422 is fine for footage coming from a DSLR. Have a search on the Final Cut Pro forum for advice from Gary Adcock about avoiding HQ except for 2k up frame sizes
