I think only proxy files will update. Unless there's a naming issue where multiple files have the same name and adobe can't figure out which one to use. Limited space always the case, and never fun. I

There's probably a million ways to do this. But my thought is: each ribbon is just a transparent image. Take the image and mask it out into the motion you'd like. that's it. ;D
