With an HVX200 you can't do a frame accurate sync as there's no tc out, but you can do TOD tc and start the devices separately. You will be a few frames off, but once you know that offset, it's easy t

We use Sorenson for Flash for all of our flvs, and it's definitely quick and efficient. You can buy just the Flash version for a lot less than the full Sorenson Squeeze Suite. Liliya
speeding up audio track

I need to increase speed of an audio track to 200% for a music video shoot. I will have the band lip sync to this faster version. Then tak the video and slow back down to 100% with the original music

Modify speed does not change the speed. It just shortens the track. The sound is the same. I need the 2Xversion sound. FAster speed.

When creating graphics in Photoshop CS, can I save a PNG-24 file and import to FCP with all transparency intact Or do I have to create an alpha channel mask for proper transparency

The alpha on PVGs can get a bit funky but it should work. If you're starting a workflow decision, make a test. You've still got to decide on pixel dimensions, aspect ratios and color gamuts. bogiesan
