And set Keylight to 'intermediate results' instead of 'final'. This bypasses the spill removal in Keylight that's known to amplify colour noise. You'll then need remove the green spill using a Hue Sat

I like to think my attitude toward FCPX is a bit more nuanced than the three (or four) options provided. I love the FCPX imaging engine and I think that pervasive metadata is the future of editorial.

Check preferences. There's a low qual high qual setting for preview. HIgh Quality fixes weirdness with XDCAM, but might slow down your editing. When I use my GT120 card, high qual bogs. GTX285 can do
