Matt - You have to use activeadmin CLI and do an 'activeadmin d beeper disable' If you do not have Active Admin software.. I think it is still on the active storage website. Hope this helps Matt Stone

Okay, so I've upgraded my system to Lion so I can properly test Premiere. 10.7.4 with the latest AJA drivers. The upgrade solved my issues with the Kona card and playback stopping, so that's a plus. H

I'm willing to give the DS op. the benefit of the doubt and assume he she's a purist (i.e. doesn't want to work with compressed anything). ;) As good as ProRes is, it is still a lossy compressed codec

I think there is some confusion here from using the terms "VPN" and "VNC" interchangeably. They are definitely not synonymous. VPN is Virtual Private Network, which allows remote computers to connect

I almost always recommend doing an archive and install rather than a straight upgrade. In the case of cs3 apps, you should be all set with no reinstallation of the suite necessary. Doing an A&I gives

You might need to tell fcp manually to use the alpha channel after you've imported your targa files. Check the properties info for one of the targa files and set the alpha attribute to straight or bla
