The MXO2 Mini with MAX (it's the MAX that does the H.264 encode) only speeds up exporting to H.264. It doesn't speed up encoding to any other codec, including DNxHD. Shane Little Frog Post Read my blo

The OMF export should have automatically converted the audio to 48Khz. the problem may be the 8khz material which I am very surprised to hear that it worked at all in FCP. It is always best practice

It should work OK as long as you put as much RAM in it as you can afford and get the faster quad-core. A mac pro with 8-cores is optimal.

Del, you are absolutely right. FYI 6.6.3 drivers work well for me. My system also seems to be more stable when using a D5 deck then ever before (knock on wood).

I had this same problem with my GL-2, it eventually got worse and worse until the zoom stopped altogether. It ended up being a bad zoom motor, which it turns out is a common problem with that camera.

Just my opinion, since I recently purchased a used GL2. I wouldn't want to pay $600 to $800 for a camera that requires between $200 to $400 to repair after the fact, even thought I paid more than that
