Wow, I totally mis-read the OP and was thinking of an .mxf EXPORT format codec, sorry! I do need new glasses. I don't see where it matters that the Sequence Setting matches the "codec" you are working

This will smooth our your workflow. If you can view 1080 files at full res then you'll be able to view proxies at full res. Once you add color correction or effects then you'l probably have to go to 1

This may not work but try right clicking the clip in Premiere, select "proxy" and "attach proxy". Maybe you are actually just seeing the 6K clip and for some reason the proxy is not attached. Mark D '

Alan as others have noted, definitely raise the lights a touch. In the future, have the subject tilt their eyeglasses down just a touch. Sometimes you have to put a little piece of tape or paper behin
