I doubt if you have similar issues if you used a Shape Layer. You may want to look at Paravent - http: www.motionboutique.com paravent . The caveat is that I think it only works with rectangular shape

All great options. Figured out another solution. Ended up just making that shape and using the dash attribute on the stroke. To animate movement, I just keyed up the offset feature within. Back in bus

You can make dotted lines using shape layers too. If it's a matter of just creating 3 lines and some larger circles, I would just use some shape layers and just keyframe the different elements to matc
