I probably dont do this correctly but I created a 2 hot keys in preferences 1 is created as the ( or ) key this I mapped to "next cut" 2 is created as the (1) key this i mapped as default transition(e

I recieved about 2hrs of video, all shot the same angle, about the same zoom, lighting is consistant for the whole show. Can anybody offer a starting point , this footage is straight off the tape. htt

Thanks for the feedback, and lucky me I did not shoot it, in fact when the client brought it to me, they had not even seen it before, they were a little disappointed whit the look. I'll do as suggeste

I use the iriver 899 512mb, it works fine, have not done any hard testing. I use the sennheiser me4 mic, probally over kill, but I had it. seems to work well. abit pricey. everybody seems to recomend

It sounds like you are rendering your "work area". Two things you can do - adjust your work area in the timeline to what you want, or in your render settings, change the setting from "Work Area Only"

I am using a ATI 8500DV card to capture analog VHS tapes to MPEG2. I am getting a narrow squiggly line at the bottom of my screen mpeg files. I thought it might be tracking or a dirty vhs but not so.
