Mark, You're doing an extra and unnecessary step. There is no need to transcode from HD to SD when making an SD DVD. Encode HD to MPEG2 in Compressor, making sure to check the 16x9 checkbox in the Geo

I always film in manual. I think that there has been a problem with the nd filter and focus so I'm sending the camera back under the silver service scheme.
