Trying to import Canon C300 MKii RGB 4:4:4 12-bit 2k footage into FCPX 10.2.2 with no luck. DaVinci Resolve 12 lite will not accept it either. Premiere Pro CC 2015 is the only app that will import it.

As of 3 days ago I can now comment on this thread with absolute authority in that I'm now the owner of a 5K iMac. I chose a special build with the 4 GHz Intel Core i7 and AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB.

Until apple incorporate Canon XF-AVC to allow native import I am using Episode Pro's XDCAM HD422 Mov 1080p setting as a base and then changing that in the Episode inspector to a ProRes 422. So my work

I've had no problems using Preference Manager with 10.1 ( apart from re-linking Libraries which is a right pain ) In my experience I would say that Preference Manager is actually working better now as

I've installed this firmware and have not had any issues. It all went smoothly. Great photographic firmware but lean pickings for us filmmakers. Having said that audio control is pretty big.
