QT metadata altered after importing into FCP7

I exported a ProResHQ QT from Premiere Pro CC 2015. The QT has 1 video track & 24 discreet audio tracks. When I open the QT in QT Player 7 & look at the movie properties (cmd J) I see the Video track

I deleted the AME folder from my machine and did a reinstall of just AME from my original disc. 2-pass transcodes to f4v are now working as expected. I did not have to reinstall the entire suite. Mac

Initial testing here produces files with .h264 extention.... that we change to .264 so Encore will import... but Encore wants to transcode the files after import. Has anyone got a recipe for encoding

Thanks for the input everyone. I just figured that if the QT was already transcoded, Encore would simply "stitch" the individual TRANSCODED elements together during build instead of stitching together

are you using the latest version of DVDSP perhaps the folks who made the disc that worked in your player are using a differnt version than you just a shot in the dark. good luck with your project. -ma

I have read that it is possible to mix codecs on a Blu-Ray title... so you can have MPEG-2, H.264 AVC, and SMPTE VC-1 content on the same disc. Is the same true of HD-DVD Thanks in advance. -Mark
