No, I don't think a computer display will work for color-correcting a theatrical feature. You need a monitor specifically designed for grading.

Jordan, you might wish to consider the top of he line iMac as I listed in the config guide. Its a lot less expensive than the MacPro or HP configs and while performance for 4K is not stellar it sounds

I would go like we go with red now. Get all your material to resolve and make tiny proxys out of them so that editor or director could use their mac book to do offline. later on you get xml from them
