Re: Very dumb newbie post concerning monitor set up

Re: seconds and not frames

The filetype "Uncompressed" can open a can of worms. It may be advertised as an Apple Quicktime .mov but at least in my own experience there can be misinterpretations in how the media is unpacked. How

Re: Inputting timecode to place ins and outs

It's just you probably. When you have the source or the program window selected you can input a timecode value and press enter to jump to that point in time. You can also use the plus or minus keys to

Re: where is Solid Color inside Color?
by Tero Ahlfors 4 weeks ago
You need to turn it into a compound clip first. Then it'll show up. This also works for other generated clips like color bars and ramps etc.

Depending on the footage you are working with, I would add normalization for log in general. Also I would switch 1 & 2: I usually try to get "a normal look" before getting to "the look". David Baud Co

by Glenn Sakatch 2 months ago
I'm not sure what either method is going to do to solve your problem. You have a render issue on 1 particular clip. At some point, Resolve is going to need to render out that shot....whether you try t

Re: Which bit depth does DaVinci Resolve grade in?

True, some plugins in Avid will tell you to switch to 10 bit before using them for best results in the analyze mode. Adding a LUT at certain locations in the node tree I believe will cause destruction
