The fastest way, given your current setup, would be to use the autotracer feature, under the layer menu. You either have to give it a precomp with an alpha trace or at least a contrast trace, then twe

When there are no clear features to track, and corners get covered, the only way to track objects is to do it by hand. I tried using the best settings for mocha but there just aren't enought features

A link to the tutorial would be useful. Try increasing the radius a lot and switch the render mode of the effect from "Full" to "Inside". Leopy

3D Camera does not match tracking points

3D Camera does not match tracking points. It's a bug There are ways to solve via GIPHY
Re: 3D Camera does not match tracking points

If you have Element 3D, you could do something like this: https: youtu.be P3BKw9jK-kI t=5m13s from 5:13 to 6:10. Leopy

Camera to Layer angle

Hi, it's been a couple of days since I started my research on how to calculate the angle between a camera's Z axis and a layer's Z axis; It would seem pretty simple but there are a couple of aspects I

Hi, unfortunately it does the same as the previous code you sent me; in fact, it spits out the exact same values (although switched in sign). I think the real problem lies in the if(...) -angle; else

Making a black 3D shape shiny

I'm working on what most of you would probably consider some very simple flying shapes. Parts of the logo are coloured and parts are solid back. I'm pretty new to working with 3D space in After Effect

Have you tried changing the color towards a more gray shade I think it really is that it can't possibly get any darker than black, so you probably have to change the color. Last chance, though I don't
