AWKWARD HVX200a VIDEO EXAMPLE - Random in/out of focus issue
by Lawrence Richards 6 years ago
Hello All, You don't need to look too closely at the background and sometimes even the foreground to see that at times the focus randomly goes in and out. The thing I don't understand is that the focu

Hadn't thought about that. I don't think that's it but now I'm curious to know if it's possible for the act of compression to effect one part of the file more than the other Thank you! Larry R. Florid

Hello again, I can really use some clarification on the relationship of the 180 degree shutter angle and the shutter speed. I've been moving away from shooting 30fps and more towards 24fps. So far all

FCPX Share Specs

Side note: just the other day I ran a 2.5min 480p24 pro res file through the old compressor with a quckcluster on my iMac to create a mpeg2. It took 58 secs which I thought was pretty good. Then I ran

FCP can often play render files after original media is missing. It is unusual to have to render audio though. So it is more common to see picture renders and hear no audio.

Raw footage in Viewer better than when it's on the Canvas and Timeline.

I'm hoping that someone can offer a suggestions as to why the footage in my canvas and timeline is choppier than it is when in the viewer? I shot the footage in 720p/30 shutter at 1/60 and the setting in FCP is DVCPRO HD 720p/60. My guess is that my setting is not what it should be but nothing has worked so far.
Thank you!
