Update: Transposing the Orientation into the individual Rotation values was definitely the key. Nothing a couple pickwhips and some basic code couldn't handle. I'm still playing with getting exactly

Just wanted to see if anyone else had any thoughts on this. As yet, I haven't been able to use this command on a vector layer that had gradients successfully - it just turns gray. Obviously, I can alw

Hey all, Got an expression problem I can't quite wrap my head around. I've got an animation where groups of people icons are multiplying exponentially. It's getting complex very quickly, and I'd love

Thanks for the response Dan. Definitely more elegant than my solution. Your post just barely beat me submitting my edit saying that I'd gotten it working. =) Mine is still using my earlier expression
Elliptical Motion path conundrum

Aha. Yeah, that makes sense. ...any way you can get fewer of them onscreen at once 2 or 3 seems a lot more doable, spacing-wise. Maybe you can cheat the movement at the bottom and top to be faster, so
Best way to sky replace non blown-out footage (video game footage)

Without seeing the specific footage, it's hard to be too helpful, but it sounds like you're probably on the right track. I'd imagine that you'll be using a combination of effects and light roto work.
'Tracer bullets' expression?

Well, I wouldn't think so either, but this instance is a company that's decided to bring their (relatively simple) video needs in-house, but to be handled by someone with basically no video knowledge.
