Thanks. So far, the Aaydn Tech lights are the ones I've come up with too. We are definitely considering them, especially given the power circuit restraints we sometimes run into.

I use Western Digitals and Lacies to edit all my content, since I use a laptop. Never had a single problem. The only thing I reccomend is that you use a minimum 7200rpm drive. Aanarav Sareen premiere@

Your biggest problem will be getting the timecode of the captured clips to match. So I recommend that you capture the entire tape in one go. Or a very few segments. Then you can do the same in HDV and

You might try writing an image file first if you haven't done that. When I first got Encore, it would not directly burn to TDK brand DVD-Rs, though it worked fine with Maxell and Verbatims. I wrote an
