Ah! Sorry - worked it out. Apparently mattes don't show up on my system if the programme monitor window is at 1 4 resolution. Changing to half or full resolution fixed this for me! Cheers, Ken.

Doesn't help you - but I'm also using LUT Buddy with ProRes transcoded footage (from Canon 60D) and having no problems. Although it does render 5 times slower than using Colorista or the three-way. It

see my post below - for now you can do this by nesting the non-Kona sequence into a Kona sequence - and jumping back and forth - works well - and no need to re-render for the Kona sequence. Ken.

Motion 5 looks great - but if you can't send media from FCP7 and you cant import Motion 5 projects into FCP7 then its just like any other app. As a standalone sure its great, but I'm not a power user
