It was shot progressive at 1280 x 720 60p. Exported as an Apple Pro Res 422 Master file from Apple FCPX. It was then compressed with Compressor 4.1 into an MPEG -2 video file and imported as a Timelin

Final thought, when you say 1080i I'm assuming you mean shoot true HD at 1920 x 1080 60i because earlier you questioned if I shot at 1440 x 1080. Are there any inherent problems when shooting 1440 x 1

Unfortunately I did not. I don't think it was a problem with my Blu Ray versions of the event but just the standard def versions. Just another inherent problem when compressing HD content for standard

Personally I would shoot it in 1080 60i. It will have smoother motion in "I" whereas "p" will be more strobe looking. If you want graceful and smooth shoot interlaced. There will be many who disagree
