I am new to DR - Much of the media I am given comes as a Grass Valley HQX 10bit AVI. Is there a way to import the codec to use in DR without have to transcode the files Please PC 1 I7 2.8 Ghz 16GB Ram

Resolve isn't that fond of the AVI container, so no. It can work with HQX encoded video if it uses a quicktime container. Rewrapping is the easiest way to do that. I think Adobe Media Encoder has an o

Yes, it does. But since Resolve will have to transcode it anyway - its not linking to a clip in your media pool, I'd use dpx or tiff or maybe quicktime uncompressed for Fusion connect. It does, howeve

Yes. Select a clip in your timeline ans select the clip you want it linked to (or conformed to in Resolve lingo) in your media folder, right clip on either of those and select force conform. ---- Ever
