Apple has been successful many times in the past at simplifying things and making them more capable at the same time. I'm going to trust that they did this until I get it in my hands and see otherwise

Batteries plates used to suck. They're fine now. I've never lost any frames unless the power went down for one reason or another and I knew I was going to lose that clip. The firmware should be update

Skintone is such a hard to identify thing sometimes with how different cameras handle it. It is almost always one of the most heated discussions too because it is so related to one's taste and persona

Twixtor usually works really well for those looking for a different solution. Also making an image sequence and throwing away certain frames while sticking to whole numbers can be a lo tech way to fix
