Obviously there is no general rule. We agree with many pros that best results for 720 60 is a shutter speed of 1 120.

Have you checked "gain" setting in the manual, I think, on page 103, in the section about SW Mode screen.

In general 480i might look pixelated on some computer screens if these are set to HD resolution. Then you may check "System Settings" in FCP if in "playback control" the "video quality" is set "low".

After all, your problem has to be solved. I would run all .MXF files through raylight software (license: US 100) creating .mov reference files. Then you select all reference files files and dump them

The only option to receive power for the card reader is via USB connected to the computer, You have only 1 USB left for data transfer.

There are no propper settings, only a variety of choices. It all depends on what format you want top shoot: 720p24 or 1080p24. Without that information not even a JVC guy can tell you how settings sho

Depends on what you are going to do with the film. Obviously for film transfer you would shoot on 24p otherwise you need also an extra transfer, which isn't inexpensive. If you are going for TV or DVD

As the Blu-Ray will be a commercial product it has to be done by a licensed Blu-Ray authoring facility. That's all ok. I just try to understand how it works with Blu-ray.
