Here are a few positive things about Premiere Elements: 1. the interface is consumer oriented so it's easier than Final Cut or Premiere CS4 2. outputting to DVD is very easy 3. it's not very expensive

Hi, it sounds strange that 3 drives would start to act up at the same time. My guess would be that the problem lies with the computer. Maybe a lose FW port or a bad cable. Is this happening on USB, FW

I would convert the 30fps footage to 29.97 using Compressor. You shouldn't have a problem after that.

Josh, The person you have been speaking to is correct. The HL-DV7W is very similar to the DSR-500. The recording section for the Ikegami is made for Ikegami by Sony (as far as I know). Both are DVCAM.

The problem has nothing to do with DVDSP. It was just a bad burn - some data must have dropped out. See if they'll accept the files on a USB drive flash rather than DVD. Much safer way to go. If they
