Own the XA10 & Vixia MF41 cams but looking at adding either the XA11, XA40, or XA50. The higher level Canons record in MP4 where my current cams record in AVCHD. Just want to be sure I can edit clips

After much consideration, I have decided to purchase the XA11. It has good reviews, has all that I need, and is the easiest to use considering I own the XA10. I will use these two plus one Canon HF M4

Have you used the Vegas software for importing long files I'm referring to Device Explorer (View Window Device Explorer). That is what I've used for stitching and it has worked flawlessly for me. J. P

I've been using one project per chapter for my family videos shot in AVCHD 60i (24 Mbps). When it comes time to produce my Blu-ray, I simply nest all projects (chapters) into a final project. I render

The vast majority of my project is AVCHD but I have some DVD footage I need to incorporate. If I edit the DVD clips separately, what format should I render my DVD clips to so they will be less degrade

Thanks! Yes, I don't want to archive over 2 hours of video when I only need a few minutes. I've tried rendering to M2TS and Sony MXF with very decent results. J. Paul Win 10 Home Prem x64 VegasPro 13

After performing a clean reinstall of Vegas, TimeWarp performs flawlessly. The issue was never with Vasst TimeWarp or Sony Vegas - just some garbage on my system that is now gone. Sorry if I alarmed a
