I was doing a log and capture when a warning came up of "Dropped frames" and fcp ended my capture... I also can't find the video. Isn't that already saved did I lose it forever JR

I do have an DS Tech Pryo AV link from 2004. the issue is that it's NTSC 3:4 AND it randomly will make the signal go "negative" mid capture for some random reason.

I know this has been answered before, but I'm still having issues. I shoot live band videos. I record my audio on my H1 Zoom, It records at 44.1. There is no way that I can tell on how to change this

And FCP can only handle 24 or 16 bit files. 32 bit float refers to the sequence setting. So convert your Zoom files to 24 bit 48khz wav before importing into FCP. Ditto the frame rate clarification. T

Why are you capturing in ProRes HQ The only discernible differences between it and good ol' ProRes 422 are much larger file sizes and much higher bit rates, which may be why FCP is freaking out. ProRe
